Former Site of Remi Primary School
Located at No.200 Yongkang Road, it was built in 1933 and designed by Paul Veysseyre. The building reflects the typical modernist architectural style by strong and smooth horizontal lines, continuous lateral band-shaped long windows, comfortable shapes and flat roofs. The parquet floor tiles and terrazzo staircase handrails of corridors and some classrooms remain unchanged. The building was used by Remi Primary School and Wuben Girls’ School successively, and is now used by Shanghai No.2 High School. The Former Site of Remi Primary School was announced by Xuhui District People's Government as Cultural Relic Preservation Unit of Xuhui District on November 18, 2010.
